Born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in New Hampshire, I’ve been a musician since the day my gran first hoisted me up to the piano at the age of four and taught me to play The Missouri Waltz. Ten years later, I made the first dollar I ever earned ( and it really was ONE dollar) playing at a YMCA dance with my group “Aftermath”. Years and years and years of music followed, playing solo and in duos, trios and larger bands doing everything from folk to rock to disco to country, to Irish, to jazz, to blues in fancy hotels, sleazy bars, TV and radio studios, streetcorners and concert venues. Along the way I’ve studied guitar, piano, flute, music theory, voice and composition at various "institutions of higher learning" including the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and the The Manchester Institute of Arts and Sciences in Manchester, New Hampshire. Also took a diploma in Applied and Industrial Photography from the Franklin Institute of Boston (visit WebheadsMedia.Net). The playing is the thing, and after all these many years playing live, it’s still the job I love to do. I’ve had the great pleasure and priviledge of playing with or supporting many fine musicians through the years, including Donovan, Paul Stookey, Stephen Stills, Richie Havens, Ian Gillan, Joe McDonald, Willie Nininger, Steve Black, Keith Nelson, and scores of less famous, but richly talented individuals. It’s been a great ride all the way, and it ain’t over yet. Join me soon for a live gig that will include a range of music from Hank Williams to Stevie Wonder to Bob Dylan, and lots more. I plan to complete and release a new CD of original music in 2008, and make even more music to keep your feet tapping and your hearts smiling. After all, they don’t call it working music, they call it PLAYING music. C’mon along and have some fun. Hope to see you real soon. |
